PREVIEW: Peterhead v Clyde
The midweek matches in Ladbrokes League 2 begin for The Bully Wee tomorrow, with a journey to Aberdeenshire to take on title-chasing Peterhead.
Clyde are expected to travel with an unchanged squad, following Saturday’s defeat at Stirling Albion.
Speaking to the official website this afternoon, Danny Lennon said:-
“Peterhead have been very consistent this season, which is why they are up there challenging. They had a good win at a difficult venue on Saturday. We know a bit more about them than we did before the recent match at Broadwood and it’s important to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the opposition.
“We’ll be prepared in terms of the travel and distance. The process started right after the game on Saturday and we’ll be up there as early as we possibly can. We’ll go with confidence from our result form, although we were very disappointed not to take anything at Stirling. I thought we played good football at times, albeit it wasn’t a complete performance.
“I’d like to thank our supporters, who I thought were fantastic on Saturday. They turned up in great numbers and really got behind the team for the full match. I wish a safe journey to those travelling up tomorrow.”
Any updates required due to the weather will be published as soon as possible via the usual club channels.
Separately, Peterhead have advised supporters travelling by road to prepare for potential delays both North and South of Aberdeen, due to major roadworks on the A90.
