Sports Dinner Raises Nearly £9k
Last weekend’s 2017 Sports Dinner has raised an excellent total of nearly £9,000 for the club.
Around 170 people attended the event at BAaD in Glasgow and the feedback recieved from those in attendance has been very positive.
Speakers Willie Allan and Phil Differ entertained the crowd after an excellent four-course meal was served, with a raffle, football card and auction all contributing to the funds raised for The Bully Wee.
Clyde director and event organiser, Gordon Nisbet said: “Our annual dinner always has two aims; raising valuable funds for the club and providing everyone in attendance with an enjoyable night. Thankfully we managed to achieve that on both fronts.
“It was our first year at BAaD and as a venue it worked very well, with a unique setting and atmosphere.
“I’d like to thank everyone who contributed, in many different ways, to the success of the event. A special mention goes to our club chaplain, John MacKinnon, who hosted the evening superbly.”
