McNiff Appeal Upheld

The club is pleased to report that the appeal submitted against the red card shown to Martin McNiff on Saturday has been successful.

A hearing took place at Hampden Park today.

The decision of the SFA’s Judicial Panel, following submissions from the club, match referee and Compliance Officer, was to substitute the sending off with a caution under offence B1c (recklessly dangerous play). The club has accepted this outcome.

The defender is now free to take part in Saturday’s match at Annan Athletic.
