Flynn Requires Operation

The club can confirm that Matt Flynn will require surgery to repair abdominal damage that is currently keeping him out of first team action.

The midfielder, 29, has been carrying the problem for a number of months and recent tests have confirmed that an operation is now needed to start his recovery.

Matt will have a final scan this week, with a date for surgery to be set later. An estimated rehabilitation period of around three months is then expected before he can return to action.
