Flynn Needs Further Assessment

Matt Flynn will require further assessment on an abdominal injury that is currently keeping him out of action, after having an initial scan earlier in the week.

The midfielder now requires the opinion of a specialist to fully diagnose the problem.

Jim Chapman said:-

“The news is a bit worse than we were hoping, but it still needs further investigation. It’s a problem that Matt has had for a long period of time which has probably complicated it.

“We’re still unsure though, so until we get a full picture there’s no point in being too down about it.”
