Development Loans

Before the end of the transfer window last night, development loans were agreed for a number of the club’s younger players.

Eight players have joined the following Junior clubs until January:-

  • Aaron Millar (pictured on homepage) to St. Roch’s
  • Robbie Davidson to Thorniewood United
  • Ronan Sweeney to Thorniewood United
  • Jordan Brown to Vale of Clyde
  • Lewis Warnock to Vale of Clyde
  • Przemyslaw Dachnowicz to Kilsyth Rangers
  • Jack Harrison to Kilsyth Rangers
  • Christopher Martin to Kilsyth Rangers

As per the standard terms of a development loan, all of the players are eligible to feature for The Bully Wee’s under-20 side during the loan period, but cannot feature for the first team.

One player leaving the club permanently is goalkeeper Ilies Belkacem, whose contract was cancelled by mutual consent. Jim Chapman said: “Ilies was finding it difficult to adjust to, and outside of, part-time football in Scotland. We wish him all the best in the future.”
