John Joyce Appointed
The club is pleased to announce the appointment of John Joyce as assistant manager.
Joyce, a former community coach at Rangers, has worked with Jim Chapman for a number of years, including a development role at Dumbarton and as number two for all of Jim’s four years in charge of Annan Athletic.
Speaking to the official website, the Clyde manager said:-
“John and I are good with each other and we have the same principles and values. He is a passionate guy and a winner. He’s also a very trustworthy and hardworking person.
“Aside from that, John has the ability to develop players and the squad will appreciate that and enjoy working with him.
“When John had a development role at Dumbarton, 15 players progressed through to the first team and that shows the influence he has. He was also with me from the word go at Annan, so we have a lot of experience together.”
