Tom Hails Easter Camps
Clyde FC Community Foundation manager Tom Elliott has hailed the first week of their Easter Camps as a huge success.
Over the course of the first week, 73 boys and girls have taken part during the five-day course. The Foundation has also received some excellent feedback from the participants about what they liked, what wasn’t so popular and things that they would like to see in a holiday football course.
The Foundation has also recieved many positive comments from parents about the Camps via email, Facebook and Twitter.
“My son Caleb has had a fantastic week at the Clyde Easter Football Camp, so much so he’s convinced me to sign him up for next week! In his words, ‘it’s amazing, I’ve learned new skills and tricks to be a better footballer’. Many thanks to Tom and Cammy for making it so enjoyable.”
Tom said: “I think it is important to ask the kids about what they like and dislike about our courses, so that we can continue to improve the product. I’m pleased to say that they are happy with a lot of the stuff we deliver but there is always room for improvement.”
First team player and community coach, Sean Higgins added: “I have really enjoyed the first week and had a great time coaching the kids and passing on some hints and tips to encourage them. I am really looking forward to next week’s camp and welcoming everyone to our first team match against Elgin City on Saturday.”
There’s still time to book a place next week, either on a full day camp (10am–3pm), half day camp (10am-12pm) or afternoon camp (1 – 3pm) – book online here.
