PREVIEW: Clyde v Annan Athletic

The Bully Wee will host Annan Athletic at Broadwood tomorrow, with a lot at stake at both ends of the Ladbrokes League 2 table.

The Galabankies have enjoyed success in the previous meetings of the clubs this season, taking three wins, all by a single goal.

For Clyde, the squad will be boosted by the return of Ewan McNeil and Chris Smith from injury. However, Ross Perry remains doubtful and Kevin Rutkiewicz is unavailable.

Joint interim manager, JP McGovern spoke to the official website this afternoon:-

“We’ve had a good week at training and we have made even bigger demands of the players. The boys know 100% what is needed and we want a big response tomorrow.

“We need the players to respect what the club is all about, what is at stake and what the league status means. We’re in the trenches and it’s about standing together and knowing that the people on either side of you will back you up.

“Annan have a good manager and have done very well, with a system that has brought them success. It’s a home game for us though and, to be honest, it’s about time we gave the fans something to shout about.”
