PREVIEW: Arbroath v Clyde

Clyde will travel to Arbroath tomorrow, as a busy sequence of matches in Ladbrokes League 2 continues.

The honours have been shared in four matches between the sides so far this season, including a Scottish Cup tie, but The Red Lichties have enjoyed better results overall and sit in second place in the table.

For The Bully Wee, both Ryan Finnie and Connor Quinn are ruled out by injury. However, Jordan McMillan and Scott Ferguson are expected to return to the squad and on loan Dunfermline Athletic man Scott Lochhead could feature for the first time as he reaches fitness again.

Joint interim manager, Peter MacDonald spoke to the official website today and he wanted an improvement on the narrow defeat at Berwick Rangers.

“We worked on a few things last night,” he said. “We’re not going to dwell on Tuesday too much and we’ve got a picture in mind of what we want to do tomorrow.

“We didn’t do ourselves justice the last time we went to Gayfield, so we’re looking for the right performance level this time. It’s a difficult place to go, but at this stage of the season you could probably say that about any away fixture.

“We’re going up there with confidence and looking to come away with all three points.”

Admission prices at Gayfield are; £13 adults, £7 concessions, £15 parent and child.
