Perry Signs New Contract

The club is pleased to announce that Ross Perry has signed a contract extension to remain a Clyde player until the end of the season.

The defender, 26, joined The Bully Wee at the end of August on a short-term deal and has been a key member of the first team since.

Barry Ferguson said: “It’s good news that Ross is staying on. Some people weren’t sure about the signing initially, because of the injuries he has had, but he’s done really well for us.

“He’s been a real leader on and off the park. He’s also the type of character who doesn’t easily accept what’s happened over the last few weeks and I like that sort of attitude, it’s what we need.

“Ross could have gone elsewhere but he really wanted to stay at Clyde and be part of the club until at least the end of the season.”
