Vote for the Community Foundation

The Clyde Community Foundation are looking for assistance with their application for a donation from the Galaxy Hot Chocolate Fund.

From November 7th until February 26th 2017, the Galaxy Hot Chocolate Fund will award a total of seventy, £300 donations to help community groups and people across UK and Ireland. Five donations will be awarded each week, four by our panel of judges and one through the People’s Choice award to the organisation with the most weekly votes.

The Foundation are applying on behalf of Clyde Utd, its new Mental Health team, for the opportunity to buy additional equipment and strips.

The team will be progressing from not just football session but bike maintenance, bike training and a healthy eating programme. The men that are involved with Clyde Utd are unable to work due to mental health issues and bringing them together once a week, with the hope to make twice a week, gives them a sense of belonging and pride to wear the Clyde badge.
