David Douglas Steps Down

The club can announce that David Douglas has stepped down from his broader CEO duties, but he hopes to continue to deliver in his area of professional expertise through the Clyde Community Foundation.

David, who is Chief Executive and founder of Heartfelt Ltd, said:-

“I love working with the club and I will continue to support it through sponsorship and corporate activities, but demands within my own business make it necessary to step back in terms of a time commitment. 

“I will, however, continue to be aligned to the Clyde Community Foundation and help the club to achieve its community objectives.”

Clyde vice chairman, John Taylor added:-

“David has brought great energy, enthusiasm and expertise to what has been a very wide brief. We fully understand his decision, but look forward to him playing an instrumental role in helping to drive the growth in our increasingly important role within the community.”
