PREVIEW: Clyde v Stirling Albion
The Ladbrokes League 2 continues again tomorrow, with Stirling Albion making their first visit of the season to Broadwood.
When the clubs last met in August at Forthbank, a closely fought contest ended in a 1-1 draw, but The Bully Wee are currently eight points ahead of The Binos in the table.
Clyde manager Barry Ferguson was looking forward to the home match when he spoke to the official website today:-
“We’ve been on the road for a few weeks and done a fair bit of travelling, so it’ll be nice to get back to Broadwood and play in front of our own fans.
“Stirling have picked up since they changed their manager, so we’re in for a tough afternoon, there’s no doubt about that. We know what we’re going to be up against.
“Overall I’ve been happy with our form recently. I still think we can play better, but that’s me being fussy. The effort from the players has been superb and they have really bonded well as a unit.
“I’ve been delighted with the work-rate that they have been giving me and I think the supporters appreciate that as well. We keep stressing to the boys how important it is to get that right, first and foremost.”
