John Kerr Appointed as Physio

The club is pleased to announce the appointment of John Kerr as first team physiotherapist.

John is a hugely experienced physio within the game and has worked with various clubs throughout his career, including Falkirk, Hearts, Ayr United, Queen of the South, St. Johnstone and Albion Rovers

Clyde manager Barry Ferguson explained that John had been convinced to take on a permanent role after travelling to Jersey earlier in the summer.

“I’m delighted to get John on board with the club,” he said. “When the position became available we approached him, but he has his own practice and he wasn’t too keen to get back involved in football again.

“He said he would come on our Jersey camp as a favour, but he was impressed with our set up and how we did things, so he decided that he would like to get involved permanently. I had hoped that once we got him into our environment he would get his zest for the game back and I’m pleased that that’s what happened.

“The club were great in helping to bring him in. He’s not only a good physio but a good guy to have around the place; the boys get on really well with him.

“I can trust him 100%, let him get on with the job and make decisions about the players’ fitness.”
