Airdrie Take Friendly Victory
Today’s friendly match at Broadwood ended in a 4-1 victory for visitors Airdrie.
The Diamonds took a 3-1 lead into the half-time break, with Matthew Flynn scoring for The Bully Wee. There was one more goal in the second period, as Airdrie scored from a corner.
After the match, Clyde manager Barry Ferguson said: “There’s still a lot of work to do; a lot of running and other things that the players have to go through. The result today wasn’t going to concern me, at the moment it’s about getting to the level we need to be at.”
