PREVIEW: Clyde v Queen’s Park
The first leg of the Ladbrokes League 1 play-off final takes place tomorrow night, as Clyde’s Glasgow rivals Queen’s Park visit Broadwood.
The promotion-deciding clash was set up courtesy of The Bully Wee’s 5-1 aggregate win over Elgin City and The Spiders overcoming Cowdenbeath 2-1.
Barry Ferguson will be without the suspended Mark McLaughlin but the Clyde boss was in a positive mood when he spoke to the official website this evening.
“There won’t be any surprises,” he said. “We’ll go with the same approach again – to win the match. I know the boys are capable and they will certainly be up for both legs of the tie.
“Hopefully there will be a big support behind us at Broadwood tomorrow and I know that there will be a great atmosphere created by our fans.
“First and foremost, if the boys give it their all over both legs then I’ll be a happy manager.”
