PREVIEW: Clyde v Elgin City

Tomorrow night brings the start of the Ladbrokes League 1 play-offs, with the first leg of the semi-final between Clyde and Elgin City taking place at Broadwood (7.45pm).

The Bully Wee finished just behind The Black and Whites in the final League 2 standings, meaning that the Highland club will have home advantage for the second leg on Saturday.

The Clyde squad is expected to be similar to the weekend, with Mark McLaughlin and John Gemmell hopeful of shrugging off injury worries to be available for selection.

Speaking ahead of the match, Barry Ferguson said:-

“Elgin are a good team and they were top of the league for a long spell of the season. It’ll be a tough tie between probably two evenly matched teams.

“We know how good their home form is, but we’ll be ready to give it our all, starting at Broadwood tomorrow.”

Admission prices (pay at the gate) are; £12 adults, £6 concession and FREE for all under-16s accompanied by an adult.

The other semi-final, between Queen’s Park and Cowdenbeath, will start a day later with the first leg at Hampden on Wednesday.
