Chris Mitchell Memorial Foundation

As a tangible sign of Clyde FC’s support for Chris’s family at this time and as a tribute and thanksgiving to his impact and influence upon us all, the club has joined together with Queen of the South, Falkirk and Bradford City to enable his family to establish a Memorial Foundation in his honour.

Donations to this fund will be used to establish the Chris Mitchell Foundation which will be a support service to help professional footballers transition into other Employment or Further Education when for whatever reason they step back from their professional football career. It will seek to network with other agencies in preparing players for change and in removing any anxiety that this can create. 

The Family are very grateful for the many expressions of love, support and strength they have experienced in the midst of this difficult time from those who have known and loved Chris.
