Scott Extends Contract to 2018
The club can confirm that Scott Ferguson has signed a new two-year contract, after undergoing surgery earlier this month.
The 21-year-old winger suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in the match against East Fife in February and required surgery on his knee.
The procedure has been carried out and Scott is now almost ready to begin his rehabilitation.
Scott made his Clyde debut in 2013 and is already approaching the land-mark of 100 appearances for the club.
Boss Barry Ferguson said, “We were planning this before Scott picked up his injury, as I was happy with his development this season. He’s a big player for us and we are guiding him carefully through his rehab. I’m sure he will come back stronger from this setback.”
