PREVIEW: Clyde v Arbroath

The Bully Wee’s Ladbrokes League 2 promotion challenge continues tomorrow with a match against Arbroath at Broadwood.

Victory over Annan Athletic on Tuesday night stretched Clyde’s winning run to four matches, with Arbroath recently appointing Dick Campbell as their new manager as they aim to stay clear of the relegation play-off.

Sean Higgins is rated as doubtful to take part and Michael Bolochoweckyj is classed as 50/50, both due to calf injuries picked up on Tuesday. David Marsh will also complete a two-match suspension.

Barry Ferguson spoke to the official website ahead of the important match:-

“There are no excuses in terms of tiredness, we had a good session last night and the boys are ready. They know what challenges lie ahead and the next test is another hard one.

“Arbroath have a new and very experienced manager in Dick Campbell. We’ve had them watched recently but we know that they might play a bit differently to our previous meetings this season. We’ll be prepared for another very difficult match.

“Hopefully we’ll get another good turnout in the stand to help the boys again – I thought the atmosphere was great on Tuesday night.”
