PREVIEW: Annan Athletic v Clyde

Clyde’s Ladbrokes League 2 campaign continues tomorrow with a visit to Dumfries and Galloway to take on Annan Athletic.

The two clubs are currently level on points, as the season enters a critical phase and the promotion battle continues to contain at least six teams.

The Bully Wee will once again be without the suspended David Gormley, as he completes a two-match ban.

Barry Ferguson spoke to the official website ahead of the match and after a disappointing defeat at home to East Stirlingshire on Tuesday night.

“It’s simple; I want a reaction,” he said. “I don’t think I need to go into much more detail than that this time.

“Tuesday’s result hurt me and I was really down about it. The players were also hurting and they were upset about letting an opportunity get away from them. I can never put them down for a lack of effort though and it was the same on Tuesday, even if our game management let us down.

“We’re all looking forward to Saturday now and it’s a chance for us to get back on track.”
