PREVIEW: Clyde v Elgin City

Clyde’s Ladbrokes League 2 campaign continues at Broadwood tomorrow, as Elgin City come to Cumbernauld.

Both sides enjoyed a victory last week, with The Bully Wee beating Montrose 3-1 and The Black & Whites registering a fine 3-2 win over Annan.

Barry Ferguson talked to the official website ahead of the match:-

“I spoke about consistency after last week’s match and we’ve been putting that to the players this week.

“All teams go through difficult patches but we’ve worked through it and we got the rewards last weekend. It was back to what I expect from the group and now we need to do it on a regular basis.

“Elgin are a good team and also a stuffy team. We look on every game as a tough one and this is no different, but we need to take care of our own performance first and foremost and approach the match in the right manner.”

Other than long-term absentee Brian McQueen, Clyde’s only injury doubt is Sean Higgins. The forward is rated as 50/50 to take part after missing the Montrose match due to a groin strain.
