Tadé Joins Romanian Champions

Following the transfer of former player Grégory Tadé to Steaua Bucharest in July, the club can confirm that it has received a Development Contribution under FIFA’s Solidarity Mechanism, in respect of his time at Broadwood.

Grégory, now 29, has become a regular in the Steaua side this season.

Nantes born Grégory was brought to Broadwood from Stranraer on a short term deal in January 2009 and made 11 starts and two substitute appearances for The Bully Wee before the end of the season. He then moved to Raith Rovers, Inverness and St. Johnstone before leaving Scotland for Romania where he joined Cluj, before being snapped up by Steaua in July of this year.

The club’s share of the Solidarity, being a small percentage of the sum set aside for such payments, is €2,542.
