PREVIEW: Arbroath v Clyde

The Bully Wee will travel to Angus tomorrow to take on Arbroath in the Scottish League Two.

The Red Lichties have struggled for form in recent weeks, but are still in contention at the top of the table as the season enters its final quarter. Clyde will be hoping to bounce back from a defeat at Elgin on Tuesday night and reverse a defeat at Gayfield earlier in the season.

Injuries have been a major factor for Barry Ferguson to contend with of late and he revealed to the official website that his squad won’t be confirmed until nearer kick-off time:-

“We may have one or two players able to return to the squad but we won’t know for definite until the morning. It’s not ideal to have lost so many players recently but that’s football and, as I said during the week, it’s a chance for other guys to come into team and show why they should be at the club.

“I was disappointed that some of them didn’t grasp the opportunity on Tuesday night and I’m expecting better tomorrow. We did ok in terms of possession but the quality in the final third was really poor and we worked on that at training last night.

“It’s going to be a tough match but we were on a good run before Tuesday and it’s up to us to get back to that.”
