Parker Joins The Bully Wee

Barry Ferguson has strengthened the squad ahead of the transfer deadline with the signing of Keigan Parker from Airdrie.

A deal to sign the 32-year-old forward on a six-month contract was concluded this afternoon.

Parker’s career began at St. Johnstone, where he featured against Clyde several times, before a move to Blackpool in 2004. He went on to make nearly 150 appearances for The Seasiders and, after moving on in 2008, he continued to play in English football for several years, at various clubs including Huddersfield Town, Oldham Athletic and Mansfield Town.

In 2012, Keigan returned to Scotland for a short spell with Ayr United and he also featured at Junior level before joining Airdrie in 2014.

Parker holds one Scotland Under-21 cap, gained in 2001 during his time at McDiarmid Park.
