MacDonald Signs for Hamilton

Hamilton Academical have announced the signature of Kieran MacDonald, after the 20-year-old’s decided to leave The Bully Wee last month.

Following his move to The Accies, Clyde chairman John Alexander said: “We were sorry that Kieran opted to move on, but with aspirations of full-time football firmly on his agenda we can only wish him well.” 

The club can confirm that terms for development compensation, satisfactory to the club, were agreed prior to Kieran making his move.

MacDonald signed for Clyde in 2012 and went on to make 59 appearances.

The club can also confirm that there will be no entitlement to compensation for Stefan McCluskey, due to Stef being beyond his 23rd birthday ahead of the start of the 2014-15 season.
