Record Holder Ahern to Return

Brian is not only a former captain of The Bully Wee, but he featured in some 420 matches for Clyde during two separate periods and holds the club record for most appearances.
He also won a Championship medal during the club’s centenary year league win.
Club director, Bobby Gracey said: “We talk a lot about the ‘Bully Wee Family’ and I can think of no one more appropriate than Brian to be the latest former player to return to the club and take a bow in front of the supporters at half-time.
“I had hoped that Brian would be able to star in our end of season legends match, however the date sadly clashes with a family wedding. He did, of course, inform me where he would rather be that day!
“I am sure Brian will receive a fantastic welcome from our fans as he returns to the club that he dedicated such a significant part of his life to.”
