Golf Day Almost Sold Out
Following last week’s announcement detailing the club’s 2014 Golf Day, only a very limited number of slots now remain for the event.
Club director, Bobby Gracey said: “It has been quite incredible, my phone has not stopped ringing and I am delighted to confirm that 20 teams have been purchased. That leaves just two more team places before it is completely sold out.”
The event will take place on Friday 23rd May at Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort, Cumbernauld. The day will begin at around 11am, with bacon rolls and coffee on arrival. The main event will be 18 holes of championship golf (shotgun, Texas Scramble format) on a course designed by Seve Ballesteros. To conclude, there will be high tea followed by a prize-giving and raffle/auction.
The cost to enter a team is £395 inc. VAT.
Bobby continued, “The celebrity guests list will include Billy Stark, Pat Nevin, Jack Ross, Pat Keogh, Paul Ronald, Craig McEwan, Jim Duffy, Frank McGarvey, Lee Sharp, Eddie Annand and Keith Knox, with more familiar faces from Scottish football, TV and radio to be confirmed.
“The demand to play in this event is very high so if you are interested in securing one of the remaining spaces please get in touch with me as soon as possible.”
