PREVIEW: Peterhead v Clyde

The Bully Wee travel North to face Peterhead this afternoon, in only one of two SPFL League Two matches taking place today.

Clyde make the journey with a major doubt over midfielder John Sweeney. However, Giuseppe Capuano is able to return from suspension though a virus is likely to continue to restrict Ryan MacBeth from participating.

Manager Jim Duffy reflected on Clyde’s recent form ahead of the trip to face the promotion favourites…

“Our form has been mixed. It was an excellent team performance last week and that built upon a good performance at Annan but, of course, we had the major disappointment of our home display against Montrose.

“We have to ensure that the level of performance we reached against Gala and Annan is repeated this afternoon against Peterhead.”
