PREVIEW: Berwick Rangers v Clyde

Manager Jim Duffy was satisfied that the squad for today’s trip to Berwick will be along similar lines to last week’s visit to Peterhead.

“Brian McQueen is ready to come back,” he said. “We’ll be adding him to the squad but Ryan (MacBeth) will still be absent.”

It is The Bully Wee’s third consecutive away trip but the Clyde boss was, as ever, pragmatic about it. He continued:

“Travelling distances is part and parcel of the game in League Two and the players need to adapt to it. With victories at Annan, Gala and a good draw at Peterhead we have competed well away from home.

“The league is so tight that it is vital that we find a level of consistency needed to get moving up the table.”
