Golf Day Raises Over £10k

Despite poor weather, the club’s 7th Annual Celebrity Golf Day at Lenzie Golf Club was a big success last week. A fantastic total of £10,300 was raised for The Bully Wee.

The raffle and auction both contributed significantly, as did all eighteen teams, sponsors and the many volunteers who made the event possible. The winning team, pictured on the homepage, was Global Options; captained by Clyde director Bobby Gracey and with celebrity Bobby Lennox.

Event organiser, Frank Dunn said: “Helen and I are grateful for all the support received from various people, not only this year but throughout their association with this event.

“A special thanks also goes to Jim McCallum and all at Lenzie Golf Club.”
