Awards for John and Iain

Following yesterday’s final match of the 2012-13 season, two of the club’s end of season awards were presented to the winning players.

John Sweeney was named the Castlemilk Branch Player of the Year, following a ballot of all fans at the Montrose match recently. John has enjoyed another busy year; featuring in 38 matches, scoring 10 goals and contributing 6 assists.

Iain Gray was also presented with the Executive Club Player of the Year trophy. Iain has also been a big part of the team, appearing in 33 matches with a consistent level of performance at the heart of the defence.

Well done to John and Iain.

The Website Player of the Year award – based on man of the match voting by club owners throughout the campaign – has still to reach a final outcome. The winner will be confirmed this week and presented with the trophy at a later date.
