Alan Moves On

The club can confirm that Alan Upton has stepped down from the position of Head of Youth Development.

Alan initially started working with The Bully Wee’s youth department in 2005, before leaving Broadwood two years later to be reserve team coach at East Stirlingshire. In 2008, he returned to Clyde to head up the club’s youth operations.

Youth Academy Director, Willie O’Neill commented, “I’d like to put on record the club’s thanks to Alan for the hard work that he has contributed over many years, all of which has left the foundations for further growth of our Academy. 

“Alan felt that this was the right time to move on and we wish him every success in the future.”
