Brown’s Season Over

Clyde full-back Gavin Brown has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Brown, who hasn’t played since February due to a knee injury, was given the news this week as Jim Duffy explained:-

“Unfortunately a scan this week discovered that Gavin requires an operation for a torn cartilage. It is a big blow for him, he has made a tremendous effort to improve his fitness and was developing into a fine right-back.

“I certainly believe he could play at a higher level so it is a set back, but if we can get him an operation in the near future then hopefully he can be at full fitness for pre-season and continue to progress.”
