Youths Progress After Fine Win

The Bully Wee’s under-19 team kicked-off what turned out to be a fantastic weekend for the club when they defeated Dundee in the First Round of the SFA Youth Cup on Friday night.

The young Clyde side – coached by Paul McIlwraith, Gerry Sheridan and Gordon Wylde – produced a fantastic display to register a 5-2 win at Broadwood. Conor Lynass (2) Gerard Traynor (2) and Scott Ferguson were the lads with the goals.

Another SPL outfit, Hearts, will provide the opposition for a very tough Second Round match, with the trip to Edinburgh due to take place by 23rd September.
