PREVIEW: Stirling Albion v Clyde

The Bully Wee travel to Stirling tomorrow determined to get back to winning ways after last week’s defeat against Peterhead. Clyde boss Jim Duffy spoke to www.clydefc.co.uk on the eve of the club’s match at Forthbank stadium:-

“Peterhead are a strong side and we were punished heavily for our mistakes. We need to eliminate that from our game and maintain the workrate that we have shown to date. Stirling have quality players and will be keen to bounce back to the Second Division at the first attempt so we understand the task ahead for us tomorrow.

“Player wise, the squad will be along similar lines to the week before. However Bryan Gilfillan misses out (groin) so Pat Scullion returns and we have also added Sean Fitzharris to the squad today.

“Sean started with Celtic and then moved to Morton. He is without doubt a very skilful player who can make a big impact in a match but unfortunately he has had more than his fair share of injuries that have hampered his progression so far. His quality is not in doubt and he has impressed us so I look forward to see him in action for the first team.

“We are preparing for our fifth game of the season and yet again we are away from Broadwood. I appreciate it has been an expensive start for our supporters but I hope that tomorrow we can give our fans something to shout about and we will do everything we can to get maximum points in order to thank them for their loyalty.”
