PREVIEW: Clyde v Peterhead
Clyde take on Peterhead tomorrow in the second match of the 2012-13 IRN-BRU Third Division campaign.
The Bully Wee squad is likely to be similar to the one that visited Montrose last week, although Gavin Brown is set to return following injury. Stevie Masterton could also feature as a trialist for a second time.
Jim Duffy spoke to the official website ahead of the match:-
“Tomorrow is going to be a hard test for us. Peterhead are one of the strongest teams in the league, with quality players in all areas of the park. For them to be disappointed about drawing with Rangers says it all about their ambitions for this year, but we are also coming off an excellent result which we want to build upon.”
The match is taking place at Alloa Athletic’s Recreation Park due to the installation of a new surface at Broadwood and Jim concluded, “Alloa have been very good to us and we appreciate their support, but it is frustrating and disappointing that the game is not at Broadwood.
“It minimises any home advantage but we have to put those feelings aside, concentrate on the football and try as hard as we can to get the three points.”
Information for supporters travelling to Recreation Park can be found here.
