IFIC Sponsor Supporters Team
The club’s supporters team, Bully Wee United, received a huge boost recently with the news that Clyde FC main sponsor, IFIC Forensics, would also be backing them for the 2012-13 campaign.
The deal sees the fans team receive a much-needed set of new kits, replicating the first team with the new red/white design.
Bobby Gracey, Club Director and IFIC Chief Executive, said: “When I was approached by Bully Wee United to assist with sponsoring the team it seemed a logical thing to do as for me this is all related to our strategic efforts to create a sense of togetherness at the club.
“It is important we join up all important aspects of Clyde FC, from playing in the supporters team, community & pro youth, first team, our loyal fans and of course the boardroom activities.
“It is just as pleasurable to see the IFIC Forensics logo on the Bully Wee United strips and I wish them all the best for the season ahead. I also look forward to going along to see the boys in action and providing them with a bit of extra support.”
Bully Wee United player-manager, Richie Duncan added, “I would like to thank Bobby and IFIC Forensics for the amazing gesture to become our team sponsor for the coming season. All of the Bully Wee United squad were delighted at the news that IFIC would like to supply our home kit, which will see the team wear the new colours all over the country.
“To be able to announce a sponsorship with IFIC is one of my personal highlights since I reformed the team back in January 2009.”
The team are pictured on the homepage lining up ahead of their first match of the season last week, against Motherwell away. The game finished in an encouraging 4-4 draw, following a three-goal fightback by the Clyde lads.
