The club is pleased to report positive news in respect of the progress being made to install a new artificial surface at Broadwood.
The board has received assurances from NLLT that the contractors are on schedule to have the pitch ready for The Bully Wee’s first home league game of the season, against Peterhead on 18th August. Provisions are also in place to cover any unexpected delays that may occur in the next few weeks.
The SFL will inspect the surface prior to the visit of The Blue Toon, with official certification taking place later in the year.
Saturday’s Ramsdens Cup match at Alloa’s Recreation Park, therefore, looks likely to be a rare chance to watch Clyde in competitive action at a neutral venue.
