Work Begins at Broadwood
As shown in the picture, right, and on the homepage, work has begun to install an artificial surface at Broadwood.
The club released a statement on the issue last week, which can be read here.
The grass pitch – in place since 1994 and the scene of many highs and lows – has already been removed as the underlying preparation work begins.
It saw The Bully Wee host Scottish football from the First, Second and Third Divisions as well as some memorable cup encounters; most notably, that famous day in January 2006 when Celtic were defeated.
It also welcomed other events over the years, such as Challenge Cup Finals and Scotland Under-21 Internationals.
Further updates on the construction progress and the matter in general will be released when possible.
