Neill Claims CIC Award
John Neill has been named as the CIC Owners Player of the Year for 2011-12, following a ballot of all owners.
The presentation was made at last night’s end of season event at The Ferry, Glasgow. Neill, who featured in 37 matches and scored 7 goals during the campaign, was on hand to collect his trophy from Jack Ross – the former Clyde man who was a welcome guest throughout the evening.
Iain Gray was also presented with his silverware for the Website Player of the Year award.

The event itself turned out to be a big success, with nearly 200 people in attendance. Commercial director, Gary Ballantyne said:-
“The evening brought together all the Clyde faithful, from supporter to boardroom and it is our intention to continue to grow this relationship stronger for the future development of the club. It was pleasing to see so many supporters, backroom staff, players – and former stalwart Jack Ross – trading stories and chat in the relaxed venue.
“The Ferry was the launch pad for future events and we will now take the opportunity to improve these nights to ensure that we put the fun back into supporting this great club.
“Once again, a huge thank you to all involved in putting this gig together and to The Ferry for providing the venue for the occasion. A special mention to everyone who donated auction prizes and raffle items, and to the supporters who purchased accordingly.”
