PREVIEW: Elgin City v Clyde

Clyde manager Jim Duffy spoke to the official website as he prepared the squad to travel North to Elgin for the Bully Wee’s latest midweek clash.

Jim commented, “Missing tomorrow will be Jason Marr who has a groin injury and that is a disappointment as he has been learning a new role in central midfield, so it’s a pity he can’t build on his previous performances.”

Also out are Jack Sloss (ankle), who remains a couple of weeks away, and Daniel Fitzpatrick (cartilage) who sadly is likely to be out for the remainder of the season. Celtic loan player Nick Feely is likely to continue in goal with David Crawford struggling with a calf injury and Barry McCue is also injured at present.

Jim concluded, “We travel in good spirits and have had good results at Borough Briggs before. I’ve felt we’ve played well recently but have lacked that cutting edge in the final third however our performance against Alloa can give us confidence for the game.”
