Players Coming In

Jim Duffy has moved to add additional players to the first team squad ahead of The Bully Wee facing two difficult away matches in the space of four days.

Two men have agreed short term deals to feature for Clyde.

Jordan White (pictured on homepage) has signed as an amateur until January and will be a familiar face to most supporters. The 19-year-old forward was on loan at Broadwood from Dunfermline during the 2009-10 season, playing in 20 matches. Jordan was recently playing for Drogheda United in Ireland’s Premier Division, but became a free agent following the end of their summer season.

Also making a short-term commitment is ‘keeper Lucas Birnstingl, 21. The Canadian stopper is formerly of Oakville, Toronto and Dundee and was recently training with Kilmarnock.

To further boost the goalkeeping options, 26-year-old David Crawford has joined the squad on a trial basis. David’s already a very experienced SFL player, with over 200 appearances under his belt for clubs including Queen’s Park, Alloa and Ayr United.
