PREVIEW: Clyde v Berwick
Clyde welcome Berwick Rangers to Broadwood tomorrow for an important match in the IRN-BRU Third Division.
The Bully Wee have only one injury problem following training last night. Pat Scullion continues to be ruled out due to a knee injury and is now expected to return in around two weeks. Craig Tully missed the trip to Elgin last week due to work commitments but is available again.
Jim Duffy spoke to www.clydefc.co.uk as he looked forward to the home fixture:-
“The players enjoyed the result last week and rightly so, but the important thing now is that they focus on maintaining that standard. We’ve got a lot of young players and we’ve been stressing to them this week about being up for the challenge in every match.
“Against Queen’s Park we looked disjointed and we ended up chasing the game. In contrast, at Elgin we were a strong unit and we’ve put an emphasis on the players to repeat that.
“The match against Berwick in the Challenge Cup was a really good game. Both teams will have settled down a little bit now and they also had a terrific result last week. I’m expecting another even match tomorrow, there won’t be much in it but if we stick together as a team then we’ll be a difficult side to get a result against.”
