Awards for Ross and Marc

With the season almost at an end, the club’s player of the year awards have all been settled and two men have been rewarded.

Club captain Ross McMillan was named Clyde’s Player of the Year, as awarded by the Castlemilk Branch of supporters.

It’s of course been a disappointing campaign overall for the Bully Wee, but despite that Ross has consistently impressed with his performances. In his first season with the club – and his first in the senior game – the big defender has looked well up to the task and always committed.

Top-scorer Marc McCusker is also pictured after collecting the Executive Members’ Player of the Year trophy. With 14 goals and 7 assists to his name, Marc can certainly be pleased with his own contribution to the season.

With only one match left to be played, it’s also been confirmed that Ross will be named Website Player of the Year. The award is based on points gained from website members’ man of the match voting throughout the season, giving it a different perspective and its own unique merits.

He currently lies on 35 points and was closely followed by Marc (30 points) with Alan Lithgow (26 points) coming in third.

Congratulations to all.
