Jamie Joins on Loan

Shortly before kick-off this evening, the club concluded a deal to bring Jamie McCluskey to Broadwood on loan from St. Mirren.

The 23-year-old winger became the youngest ever SPL player when he made his Hibs debut as a teenager in 2004. After four years at Easter Road, he went on to have spells at St. Johnstone and Wrexham before arriving at St. Mirren Park in the summer.

Jamie has now joined Clyde until the end of the season. He finished a busy day by making his debut against Arbroath, putting in a performance that impressed the Bully Wee support before leaving the field early due to a slight injury.

Clyde boss Jim Duffy said, “Jamie’s an entertainer. He gets on the ball and takes men on; we need some players like that and I think he’ll enjoy playing on our good pitch.”
