The club is pleased to announce that it has agreed terms to bring in three players this evening, as Jim Duffy moves to make his mark on the squad.

All will join until the end of the season, with two on loan from Partick Thistle.

Talented midfielder Charlie Miller (right), 34, signs on a short-term deal and will need little introduction. The former Rangers, Watford and Dundee United man has recently returned home following a spell in Australian football. Miller, capped once by Scotland, has also previously enjoyed time in Europe with SK Brann (Norway) and Lierse (Belgium).

In 2008-09, Charlie was named as A-League Foreign Player of the Year and will certainly bring a vast amount of ability to the Bully Wee midfield.

Arriving on loan from Firhill are Bryn Halliwell and Ryan MacBeth.

‘Keeper Halliwell is returning for his second stint at Broadwood, after leaving the club in 2005 following a very successful five-year spell. The 30-year-old will complete the necessary paperwork tomorrow and is expected to be included in Saturday’s squad.

Likely to join him on the team list is Jags midfielder MacBeth, 19. The promising youngster hopes to thrive on first team action at Clyde, in a move that should benefit both parties.
