Youth Award for Marc

Clyde striker Marc McCusker has claimed his second award in recent weeks, after being named as IRN-BRU SFL Phenomenal Young Player of the Month for August 2010.

The accolade comes after he was voted as the Co-operative Insurance Cup Young Player of the Round for the opening stage of that competition.

The 21-year-old has enjoyed a fine start to the campaign, scoring seven goals in as many matches. He is pictured here proudly collecting his trophy at the National Stadium.

Marc was also part of a Bully Wee team that faced Motherwell in a closed door match last night. A strong Well side, including players such as Alan Gow, Jamie Murphy and Nick Blackman, eventually won 1-0.

The Clyde performance was encouraging though and earned the praise of Fir Park boss Craig Brown.
