All Square in Friendly

The Bully Wee travelled to Camelon last night and, as expected, it was a very useful workout for a mixed Clyde team against the Junior side.

The match finished 1-1, with Camelon taking an early lead before Willie Sawyers scored a superb equaliser. It was Willie’s first match action since an operation earlier in the summer and his participation in the full 90 minutes was a big positive from the night.

Conversely, a hamstring injury picked up by Hadyn Cochrane in the opening minutes looks set to rule him out of contention for a period of time and was a disappointing aspect.

Fellow first team squad members – including Graham Girvan, Jordan Allan, John Sweeney, Bryan Dingwall and Iain Gray – enjoyed time on the pitch, alongside under-19 players.
